At McIntyre Dick, we know we look like a traditional accounting firm, but in reality, it’s just the beginning! We know we’re a bit different and we’re good with that!  There’s a lot of what we do that looks like what other accounting firms do, and to some degree that’s true, but in reality, two of our key differences are HOW we do it and WHO we have as part of our team.

Our culture is what sets us apart and makes McIntyre Dick an employer of choice. We live into our values every day. We’re selective about bringing the right people into our family of both team and clients. We don’t always get things 100% right, but we own that and learn from it.  We have career pathways from administration right through to Chartered Accountant and beyond.

Come and see us at Careers Fest to learn more about what your future could look like.

There are varied roles within a Pharmacy setting, all working together to improve health outcomes for communities and help customers with their health, well-being and medicine needs.

As medicine experts, pharmacists work directly with patients, helping them understand their medicines and how to use them in the most effective way.

Pharmacists are essential members of the healthcare team. They’re trusted by other healthcare professionals to assess prescriptions and recommend the best combination of medicines. But this is just part of their role. As a pharmacist, you can also assess and treat health conditions, prescribe medication, and give life-saving vaccinations. This is the future of pharmacy – going beyond the script.

Pharmacy Technicians:

Pharmacy technicians assist the pharmacist in the preparation of prescriptions, and help with the general running of the pharmacy, as well as advising customers on health and wellbeing needs.

Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technicians (PACT) is a recently developed role that allows trained PACTS to be able to competently undertake the final accuracy check on a dispensed item that has been clinically approved by a registered practising pharmacist.

Pharmacy Assistant:
In a community pharmacy, Pharmacy Assistants work in the retail side of the pharmacy. They are usually the first point of contact with the customers. Pharmacy Assistants need to be well organised, be able to work as part of a team and be able to communicate and relate to patients/customers.

Here at Sylvan Bank Pharmacy, we help to enhance the quality of life of the people within our local community. The team offer you experienced service with a professional approach to your healthcare, encouraging you towards positive changes for better health and wellbeing.

We provide a broad range of services and answers to your questions and medication needs. We invite you to talk to us at Sylvan Bank Pharmacy – we are committed to making a positive difference to your life.
